Setting Your Default Investment

You have the option to set a specific investment as the Default Investment for your transactions so you do not have to manually search for one each time you need it. The Fund Code and Position ID of the investment you choose will automatically populate in the Investments field, and the daily balance for that investment will display on the Home page.

Note: Setting a Default Investment is not required, nor does it prohibit you from working with your other investment pools.

Note: The Default Investment is stored as a user preference ,meaning it will be the default every time you log on, unless you choose to clear it.

To set your default investment:

  1. On the Home page, click Set Default Investment. The Set Default Investment page displays.
  2. Use the Investment drop-down menu, search function, or investment pop-up box to select the investment from your account that you want as your default.

  1. Click Save to return to the Home page. The Default Investment displays.

Note: See Investment Balance for an explanation of the Investment Balance information.

Note: Click Refresh in the Default Investment section to update the balance of the investment.

Modifying Your Default Investment

To modify your default investment:

  1. Click Change in the Default Investment section of the Home page.
  2. Use the Investment drop-down menu, search function, or investment pop-up box to select the investment from your account that you want as your default.

  1. Click Save to return to the Home page. The new Default Investment displays.

Clearing Your Default Investment 

To clear your default investment:

  1. Click Change in the Default Investment section of the Home page.
  2. Click Clear Current Default to remove this investment as your default. You return to the Home page, where the Default Investment is no longer set.
